Bases at Lazer Gate are used to allow players to score points from the arena as well as from opposing players. Typical use is as follows: In Solo and Team games the bases will be set to 3 different colors (typically Red, Blue and Green). Each base will be able to be "destroyed" by each player ONE time. The correct way to "destroy" a base is to tag it, the place to tag is the line of LED lights that you see in the picture. The center of the base is just a speaker, so go for the edges rather than the center. Point values will vary depending on the game being played.
Not all laser tag games will feature Bases. If Bases will be on during the game, the Game Marshal will include them in the briefing.
During Solo or Team games, unless otherwise specified, you will be able to tag each base no matter which color team you are on.
If you have any questions, please ask your Game Marshal at the end of the briefing, or ask our Front Desk staff for general information.
